Country Boy Brewing – Chair Ave

Country Boy Brewing was founded in Lexington in 2012 by four native Kentuckians, Jeff Beagle, Nate Coppage, Evan Coppage and Daniel “DH” Harrison, who shared a love of craft beer. The Chair Avenue taproom is the brewery’s original home. Country Boy takes pride in making minimally processed beer from high-quality, real ingredients. Its core brands include Cougar Bait, an American blonde ale, and Shotgun Wedding, a vanilla brown ale, and the lineup has also included the Halfway Home pale ale, the Cliff Jumper IPA and seasonals. In February 2017 the company expanded into a much larger production brewhouse in Georgetown, with 1,000 barrels of fermentation capacity, which lets it can its popular beers for wider distribution. Country Boy now pours at taprooms in Lexington, Georgetown and Louisville. The brewery offers tours, an online beer finder and a merchandise shop.
