Hofbrauhaus Newport

Hofbräuhaus Newport is a Bavarian-style brewery and restaurant on East Third Street in Newport and a sister to the Hofbräuhaus locations in Columbus and Pittsburgh. Its beer is brewed in house the traditional German way, following the Reinheitsgebot, the Bavarian purity law of 1516 that set strict rules for brewing ingredients. A new seasonal bier is tapped from a fresh keg during the last week of each month. The kitchen serves Bavarian favorites such as schnitzel, bratwurst, pretzels with bier cheese and spaetzle, along with burgers and oversized cream puffs for dessert. In warm weather the biergarten opens for outdoor dining, and live bands play on a regular calendar. The Stein Master Club gives members special access to freshly brewed biers and members-only events, and the haus also books group parties and celebrations.
