Darkness Brewing

Darkness Brewing calls itself a neighborhood craft brewery in historic Bellevue, a Northern Kentucky river town known for its small shops, and it says it is proud to be part of that community. The brewery makes beer for a wide range of tastes, covering IPAs that lead with hops, rich stouts and bright, easy-drinking ales, and its ten rotating taps are always changing across styles. One yearly highlight is Blumpkin, a dark pumpkin beer brewed with a large amount of real pumpkin and a spice blend from local purveyor Colonel D Gourmet Spices, released in a single batch each year alongside a barrel-aged version. The brewery’s own food truck, the Darkness Diner, serves comfort food made to go with a pint. Darkness also hosts trivia nights, live music, open mic nights, seasonal celebrations and artisan markets, and it sells merchandise through an online shop.
