Braxton Brewing Company

Braxton Brewing Company is a Northern Kentucky brewery based in Covington whose story starts in a family garage. Founder Evan Rouse, who grew up in Union, Kentucky, fell for brewing as a teenager and built a home brewery in his family’s garage when he was 16, years before he could legally drink. That early hobby grew into an entrepreneurial drive to build the brewery of his dreams, with his whole family pitching in to help. The brewery treats the garage as a symbol of the place where ideas are born, tinkered with and fermented, and it celebrates determination, know-how and humble pride, with the rallying line “Lift One to Life.” Braxton’s Covington taproom has a rooftop, and the company has grown to include taprooms in Union and at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky airport, Factory 52 and a barrel house. It also runs a private barrel program and an online store.
