Salt River Brewing Co.

Salt River Brewing Co. is a brewery and pizza kitchen in Shepherdsville, in Bullitt County south of Louisville. Its beer is brewed in house, and the 12 taps rotate, with the online tap list updating whenever a keg changes. The kitchen, Dockside Bites, turns out pizza along with pub food such as a jumbo pretzel served with a cheese sauce made with the brewery’s Reel EZ Blonde, wings baked in house each day with a secret seasoning blend, meatballs and meatball subs, and barbecue nachos and sandwiches with smoked pork or chicken. For guests who skip beer, the bar offers signature bourbon cocktails, including the Salt River Sour and the Bullitt Proof. The brewery also rents event tents for outside gatherings, with add-ons such as a beer trailer, karaoke and live music available on request.
