Falls City Brewing Company

Falls City Beer bills itself as Louisville’s original brewery, with roots going back to 1905, and today it operates a taproom in the city’s NuLu district. Its motto is “No More Bad Beer,” and the brewers aim for well-balanced, very drinkable beers that put a fresh spin on traditional styles, often using bold flavors and unconventional ingredients. The taproom pours 16 fresh, locally brewed beers, mixing core favorites with rotating releases. The brewing team is led by head brewer Cameron Finnis with assistant brewers Ben Karem and Blake Cotton. Falls City also has a private event space with historic character for birthdays, rehearsal dinners, corporate gatherings and other celebrations, with a full bar serving its beer. It does not cater, but outside food and caterers are welcome. The brewery sells kegs, works with retail partners and sells branded apparel.
