West Sixth NuLu

West Sixth NuLu is the Louisville taproom and brewery of Lexington’s West Sixth Brewing, located in the NuLu Marketplace in the city’s NuLu district. Guests order at the bar and seat themselves, with an indoor beer garden, a main bar, an outdoor courtyard and an upstairs area when it is open. Dogs are welcome in the open-air spaces and the courtyard. The space is ADA compliant, with an elevator, ramps and movable seating, and the brewery says it works to make the taproom comfortable for everyone. Its kitchen, The Galley, serves food several days a week. The tap list runs to about 20 beers and has included West Sixth IPA, a hop-forward IPA with citrus and pine over a toasty malt base; West Sixth Cerveza, a crisp Mexican-style lager; and Pennyrile Pale Ale, with a big fruity hop aroma. NuLu also hosts yoga, private events and nonprofit happy hours.
