Last Stop Brewing
About
Last Stop Brewing is a seven-barrel microbrewery and restaurant in Shelbyville, which it bills as the town’s first and only brewery and restaurant. It was founded by a group of like-minded partners. Co-founder Jon Fee took up homebrewing in 2007, kept at it after moving from Colorado and used the pandemic to refine his recipes. He then helped launch Oldham Brewing Company in Prospect, but beer from its small system sold out quickly, and it became clear the business needed a bigger brewhouse and a new home. Mike Sims joined the ownership team to bring business and operations experience, and Last Stop opened in Shelbyville on March 17, 2024, with an upgraded seven-barrel system. General manager Hunter Monarch, brought on soon after opening, later became an owner as well. The brewery keeps 12 beers on tap across a wide range of styles and serves a full food menu.
