Flywheel Brewing Company

Flywheel Brewing is a craft brewery in Elizabethtown whose name and brand pay tribute to the flywheel, the simple spinning machine whose momentum helped power human progress, from printing presses to factory production. The brewery sees itself as honoring that machine and a simpler era by bringing brewing back to the heartland. Its owners say local craft beer has momentum on its side, and they set out to rebuild a responsible beer culture that had long been missing in Elizabethtown, with the goal of making the town a craft beer destination. The brewery believes good beer can break down social barriers and that every community needs a relaxed place where neighbors can gather and form lasting friendships. The taproom pours up to 16 draft beers, with playfully named brews such as Malterior Motive, Hey Porter and E=MC Hammered. The brewery also hosts events.
